The Ellice hotel compound consisting of Residence Inn by Marriott, Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott and Homewood Suites by Hilton is the largest hotel compound in Manitoba with 9+ meeting/ event spaces and close to 400 guest rooms. We are looking for an experince Banquet Manager who will help us bring our events to the next level and be responsible for our banquets and food related guest events.As a Banquet Manager, you will run the day to day operations of Banquets and catered events including but not limited to;food orders, staff schedules, food and beverage employees, event set up, catering ordering, preparation and clean up of event spaces, service of guests, and respond to questions, complaints, and requests.QUALIFICATIONSAbility to ;stand/walk for long periods of time,create banquet event Orders,do online food and beverage ordering,follow guest requests and specialty instructions,exceptional attention to detail,ability to work under pressure,professional & polite,can work well as part of a team,Must have Smart Choices® certification (responsible beverage service) or be willing to get once hiredJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $39,000.00-$42,000.00 per yearBenefits:
