CLICK HERE to access The Application Screening Form.The Maintenance Enforcement Program (MEP) assists families who are in the midst of family separation and to enforce court orders and separation agreements that require payment of family support. If necessary, collection action may be taken that includes a variety of administrative enforcement tools set out in legislation including the attachment of income sources or property.Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • A satisfactory enhanced security check – Level 3
  • A satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in English and French
Qualifications:Essential:
  • Experience with providing excellent customer service either in person, over the telephone, or by email
  • Experience performing clerical or administrative functions including data entry, preparing documents, and responding to telephone inquiries
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Experience working independently under minimal supervision, while exercising a high level of initiative
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Excellent English verbal communication skills

Duties:The Bilingual Client Services Representative position is a vital position within the Maintenance Enforcement Program’s Communication Centre and in most cases is the client’s primary first phone contact with the Program. It is imperative that Program processes and procedures are clearly explained and outlined at the first contact to ensure clients are confident in the services the Program can provide for them and eliminate any false expectations of service delivery. The Program is a high profile area dealing with emotionally sensitive and often confidential issues. The incumbent is required to effectively communicate with each client in a positive and polite manner demonstrating that each call is important. Calls must be handled professionally, expeditiously and tactfully within Program policies and procedures.
