Qualifications:Essential:
  • Completion of a post secondary education in the field of Information Systems, Business Analysis, or an equivalent combination of formal education, training and related experience may be considered
  • Experience eliciting business requirements for technology related projects
  • Experience creating process maps
  • Experience leading and coordinating user acceptance activities including; creating test plans, designing and developing test scripts, executing test scripts, test cycle closure/reporting
  • Experience developing user training manuals and help manuals
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Effective writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, logical material
Desired:
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Experience collaborating with technology providers to design, develop, and implement technology solutions
  • A strong understanding of current and emerging technologies
Duties:The Business Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and support of business systems used by Manitoba Justice.
