Nordstern Group is committed to continuous investment in facilities, infrastructure, technology, and people, ensuring scalable solutions for client needs while fostering long-term growth.Position Overview: This role supports the organization’s growth strategy through collaboration with the VP of Business Developmentamp; Marketing, the marketing team, and other stakeholders to identify, cultivate, and manage client relationships. The candidate will play a key role in customer engagement and project development, gaining exposure to advanced sales and marketing strategies while being groomed for higher responsibilities within the organization. Cultural fit and personal qualities will play a crucial role in the selection process. As part of a relatively small and versatile team, the ideal candidate should be adaptable, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively within the organization.Core Responsibilities:1. Collaborative Prospecting and Market Analysis:

  • Assist the VP of Business Developmentamp; Marketing and marketing team in conducting market research to identify prospective clients and emerging opportunities within Canada and the United States.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to establish new business relationships.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance market visibility.
2. . Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Conduct follow-ups to address client needs, resolve issues, and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Actively participate in resolving client concerns and maintaining trust in sensitive situations.
3. CRM Utilization and Reporting:
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and customer interactions accurately.
  • Maintain records of sales progress and provide regular updates to the VP of Business Developmentamp; Marketing and marketing team.
4. Marketing Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with marketing campaigns.
  • Provide input to enhance marketing materials and contribute to collaborative projects.
  • Assist in shared “wallet” initiatives and other joint marketing-sales efforts.
5. Professional Development and Training:
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop skills for advanced roles within the organization.
  • Gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing strategies through collaboration with senior leadership.
6. Travel and Representation:
  • Travel across Canada and the United States to meet clients, attend meetings, and represent the organization professionally.
  • Plan and execute travel schedules efficiently to maximize productivity.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Educational Background: Post-secondary training in Business Development and/or Engineering preferred, but not required.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
    • Exposure to a manufacturing or production environment, either through sales or operational roles, will be a significant asset
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Familiarity with MS365 suite is an asset
    • Basic understanding of market analysis and strategic planning.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50% and adapt to dynamic business needs.
