Job Description

Farmers Edge is a global leader in agriculture technology! We produce industry leading technologies, software and digital tools that enable customers around the world to grow more sustainably, maximize profitability, and minimize risk.Using state-of-the-art equipment, our laboratories complete comprehensive soil and tissue testing and analysis to deliver unparalleled insights to Farmers Edge customers, agricultural retailers, and research facilities across the country! Our laboratory in Winnipeg, Manitoba is hiring for several skilled seasonal positions to support increased demand during the upcoming fall season. Positions start immediately, with training provided over the summer, and will continue until December 2025. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a lab setting while contributing to important environmental work. What we offer:

What you #39;ll be doing:As a Soil Lab Technologist, you will utilize highly specialized laboratory instruments and methods to prepare and process samples, conduct routine and specialized tests to determine chemical and physical properties, and accurately report and interpret results while maintaining best-in-class quality control standards. What you #39;ll need:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as chemistry, biology, or soil science
  • Working knowledge of analytical methodology, instruments, and general laboratory procedures
  • Experience with Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) ionization methods would be ideal
  • A flexible schedule and the ability to work a variety of shifts including, days, evening and/or occasional weekends.
