Job Description

FINANCIAL ANALYSTCarfair Composites is a leader in fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) design and composites technology and has dedicated team members located in facilities between Winnipeg, MB (Canada), St. Cloud, MN (USA), and Anniston, AL (USA), Wausaukee, WI (USA) and Gillett, WI (USA). Further information is available at www.carfaircomposites.com.POSITION SUMMARY:As a key member of the Carfair Composites accounting department, your duties will include tasks that assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statement package, as well as providing general support within the organization to operations, and assisting with customer collections.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Preparation of the monthly financial reporting package for identified plants.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitoring and reconciliation of the bank activity.
  • Customer collections.
  • Maintenance of sub-ledgers.
  • Preparation of weekly reports on key metrics.
  • Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries.
  • Variance investigation and analysis.
  • Assisting with inventory counts.
  • Assist with preparation of annual budget and forecasts as required.
  • Enforcing internal controls over the financial statements.
  • Preparation of required tax reports.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support finance and operations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of previous accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Syspro, Microsoft Dynamics AX and Oracle are desired.
  • Ability to function within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to set priorities and organize workloads
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
