Job Description

Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Carpenter to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for assisting with a wide range of commercial projects at multiple job sites. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to quality craftsmanship are key to succeeding in this role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily work orders efficiently and on time
  • Report project delays or site issues to your supervisor promptly
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to determine materials and layouts
  • Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
  • Install fixtures and structures including windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
  • Build and repair cabinetry, frameworks, floors, doors, and more
  • Inspect woodwork, siding, and fixtures for damage; repair as needed
  • Finish surfaces using paint, paneling, or hand tools
  • Maintain site cleanliness and uphold safety regulations
  • Document work progress and submit written reports
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work extended hours
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Valid full driver’s license
  • Proven ability to take direction and learn quickly
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Red Seal Certification is a strong asset
  • Strong knowledge of job site safety practices
