Job Description

MITT is a post-secondary institute offering industry-driven, student-focused education in the areas of skilled trades, business and information technology, health care, and human services. We provide affordable, timely, skills-based education for learners seeking career entry as well as those looking to acquire relevant, in-demand competencies at any point in life.Casual Carpentry InstructorsHourly Rate: $33.20/hourMITT is seeking is seeking energetic and knowledgeable casual instructors for its post-secondary Carpentry programs. The hours of work are as required, 8:45 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Interprovincial Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal) – Carpenter
  • Related industry experience within the full scope of the trade
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of recent, related work experience in a senior capacity
  • Experience in instructing, training or facilitating
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in adult learning principles and methodologies
  • Completion of Certificate in Adult Education or related discipline preferred
