Child Care Assistant Full Time PositionPacific Junction Daycare Incorporated (est. 1987), located in the heart of Charleswood, is looking to hire a Full Time CCA for our Preschool Program. We are a friendly, small, close-knit centre with a great community of caring staff, families and friends. We have a four space infant program and a 32 space preschool program.We are looking for a flexible, organized, patient, creative, fun, compassionate and warm CCA to join our team. Who has a genuine interest in working with children from infant to preschool and a positive, friendly attitude. Has initiative, the capacity to work with minimal supervision and has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).Duties:In this role, you will provide nurturing care and learning opportunities to children primarily in our preschool room. Candidates should be familiar with emergent curriculum and subscribe to a play based approach. We are looking for an individual that is positive and has lots of energy and creativity. You will participate in telling stories, teaching songs, preparing craft materials and providing opportunities for creative expression. Our preschool room requires an individual whom is able to work as part of a team, as well as independently. This role requires duties such as preparing snacks, outdoor play, changing diapers, art activities and implementing circle time for your group.
