Job Description

TST-CF Express is located across Canada wide, and through its strategic partnerships provides transportation services across North America.We are hiring Class 1 Driver/Dock Worker for in WinnipegWhat we offer:

  • Shift premiums of $1.50 for shifts starting between 2PM and 6AM.
  • $2.60 of employer pension contribution for every hour worked
Responsibilities:
  • Flexibility to drive various Class 1 vehicles and equipment, must be able to drive manual transmission
  • 1+ year of Counterbalance Forklift experience
  • Ensure secure loads, pick-up and deliver freight locally
  • Have a natural customer service focus
  • Maintain routine communication with dispatch/yard control
  • Perform daily inspections and safety checks
  • Work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • You have a Class 1 license, air brake endorsement, and a clean driver’s abstract
  • 1 year of experience with counterbalance forklift
  • Familiarity with local area truck routes, industrial zones and dangerous goods routes is an asset
  • Fluent in English
  • This is a unionized position and shifts are determined on a seniority basis. Candidates may be subject to shift work
  • Candidates must have reliable means of transportation to get to work
  • Candidates must pass a criminal background and drug test for illegal substance - company paid
