We acknowledge that Manitoba is located on the Homeland of the Metis Nation.The opportunity: Frontier College currently partners with schools, community organizations, and IndigenousCommunities to reach children, youth, adults and families through after school reading circles, homework clubs, 1-to-1 tutoring, family literacy workshops, reading tents, and summer literacy camp programs in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. We are growing our work in the province through the development of new and diverse partnerships with communities and organizations. We are seeking a Community Coordinator to organize contract staff and support the delivery of a range of programs, including core year and summer activities across various communities in Manitoba.This position will work from a home based office but will be required to travel to project sites regularly. Mileage will be reimbused for all travel to and from project sites. This position will work both independently and as part of a larger team across Manitoba and Saskatchwan. This position will be responsible for community relationship building, logistics and planning, staff hiring and training, project delivery, administration, evaluation and reporting.Main responsibilities and major duties:
