Our growing Creative Communications team is hiring a Content Marketing Specialist to help champion the Richardson brand through the creation of relevant, impactful, and memorable content.In partnership with the Creative Communications team and Richardson’s business divisions, you will apply your deep understanding of digital and content marketing to enhance the brand, strengthen internal and external connections and relationships, and meet overarching business objectives. You will evaluate consumer and industry trends, gauging how, when, and in what context Richardson will participate. You will also help to shape conversation around important industry topics and issues by providing fact-based material to both educate and inform audiences.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Richardson corporate, agribusiness, and food ingredients divisions to understand and identify programs and content that can be leveraged for local markets. Develop clear quarterly objectives with KPIs and report success and necessary improvement plans to key internal groups.Conceptualize and implement comprehensive content strategies for Richardson’s various business divisions with the goal of connecting internal and external audiences. You will produce best in class content to maximize conversion rates and build a community of brand advocates.Manage the corporate social media content lifecycle from ideation, creation, and editing through to approvals, distribution, measurement, maintenance, and improvement.Discover, engage, and manage potential partners and industry influencers who share company values, perspectives, and motivations to resonate with target audiences and enhance visibility of the Richardson brand.Consistently and meticulously research macro trends, market landscapes, Richardson customer journeys, and category trends to gain clear insights for pathways to meeting brand and sales objectives.Organize regular content audits, identifying strengths, opportunities, and gaps to proactively maintain forward-thinking and effective content plans.QualificationsPost-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, digital marketing, or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years’ experience developing customer-centric content marketing strategies and creatively leveraging digital and social tools for distribution to successfully meet business objectives. You will have a strong grasp on storytelling and digital audiences as well as how to work with specific audience benchmarks in mind.Deep understanding of both organic and paid social media to captivate, educate, inspire, and optimize engagement.Comprehensive knowledge of all major social network and media sharing platforms, SEO (including keyword research and Google Analytics), and Google Ads. Experience in other mainstream and niche digital advertising platforms is an asset.Equal parts collaborative and independent, with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
