You will be successful in this position if you thrive in fast-paced environments, have a strong vocabulary and sharp editing skills and are an intuitive storyteller.THE DETAILS:Youll be joining our EQ3 Head Office team at 70 Lexington Park, Winnipeg, MB. for a full-time, one year term duration. There is the possibility of this role becoming permanent after the completion of the term.

• Youll assist in being the voice of the brand, communicating our core values through all messages, from product descriptions to promotional copy to in-store signage and maintain the brand tone of voice, ensuring all messaging is consistent
• Youll work alongside our Copywriter and Digital Content Specialist to marry quarterly sales goals with opportunities for brand storytelling via our social media platforms and email channels
• Youll collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure a consistent and effective brand message
• Youll contribute to creative planning and ideation meetings with relevant research, timely ideas, and a collaborative attitude
• Youll write inspired marketing copy for all customer-facing channels: website, in-store signage, email, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest
• Youll craft compelling product descriptions that accurately and creatively articulate unique product benefits
• Youll proofread and provide feedback on company press releases and internal memos to assure brand voice and tone are being accurately captured
• Youll distill feedback from multiple stakeholders to edit and improve existing copy, while remaining within established brand guidelines
• Youll work with Digital Content Specialist to conceptualize compelling ways of communicating quarterly department objectives
• Youll organize the translation of all necessary promotions and content into French; assume the point of contact role with our contract translator
• Youll ensure all outgoing content is proofread with attention to grammar, readability, style, accuracy, formatting, and brand conventions

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Creative Communications, Journalism, English or related field
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant copywriting experience
• Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
• Able to work effectively and manage deadlines reliably under pressure
• Able to juggle changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of changing deliverables
• You have your finger on the pulse of our industry with an eye of whats coming tomorrow
