Job Description

Crane Truck Driver – Class 3 with AirSpringhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is looking for an experienced Crane (Boom) Truck Driver. This position is from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.The successful candidate will receive full company paid benefits after 90-days.Rate of Pay: Depending on ExperienceResponsibilities:

  • Labour intensive with booming different building materials from roofing supplies, shingles, drywall, etc., daily to customers’/vendors sites;
  • Load and unload materials following the proper safe work procedures and requirements;
  • Ensure orders are accurately filled, loaded and secured following all safe work procedures;
  • Pick up any excess building materials from job sites as instructed and complete the proper paper work;
  • Complete all required paper work promptly and accurately. Including noting any order shortages or changes on the paper work;
  • Maintain a cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles;
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Hold a valid Class 3 with Air driver’s licence;
  • Crane and Rigging Certification;
  • Obtain and hold a Driver’s Abstract (must be current within 3 months);
  • Forklift Licence desired (but not required);
  • Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
  • Must be a team player, friendly, reliable, and organized;
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.
