Job Description

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Our long standing and reputable company is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong attention for detail to join our non-unionized food processing plant located in theWinnipeg area.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes customer orders via EDI and email;
  • Reviews, monitors, and responds to customer inquiries for domestic and international customers
  • Communicates and addresses all customer issues;
  • Verifies pricing, delivery dates, and inventory quantities for customer orders;
  • Manages customer portals for orders and delivery status;
  • Collaborates with customers, brokers, and warehouses to ensure orders are delivered on time;
  • Provides back up to team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer service roll is preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work to tight timelines;
  • Flexible and adaptable to change;
  • Dedicated and hard-working with a systems mindset;
  • Proven ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision;
  • Experience with ERP Systems would be considered an asset.
