The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills who will be assigned a variety of duties. They will be responsible for staffing the parts desk, purchasing all materials and parts, inventory control and providing consistent and reliable support to our customers. With their customer service and organizational expertise, they will play a definite key role in enhancing our corporate image and reputation.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess customers needs to achieve customer satisfaction by telephone or in person
  • Provide accurate pricing of parts and accessories using the proper pricing structure
  • Work alongside the purchasing department and sales teams to process sales and/or other transactions
  • Fill customer orders from available stock
  • Liaise with the service department, purchasing department and outside sales teams
  • Provide support to the Preventative Maintenance department by assisting in scheduling regular maintenance work, assisting with quoting parts and components, register unit sales (air compressor and generator), enter preventative maintenance contracts sold into internal tracking software.
  • Receive payment for orders by card or cash, obtain credit authorization, process sales or other transactions
  • Assist customers such as responding to customer complaints, providing solutions, and updating customers on back-ordered parts by phone or by email
  • Explain technical product offerings and service offerings to customers
  • Keep the parts department organized and maintained
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the internal Purchaser when stock is low
  • Arrange pickup and delivery of parts when required with warehouse staff
  • Other duties as assigned
