  • Efficiently delivering parcels, letters, equipment and dangerous goods.
  • Driving within the city of Winnipeg and surrounding area
  • Respecting deadlines and time limits
  • Working independently and managing your own time
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid drivers license
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Carrying and transporting heavy materials and dangerous goods
  • Experience in the courier, transportation, or delivery industry
  • Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Time management skills
  • Being able to make calculated decisions in limited time frames
  • Working indoors and outdoors
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Being punctual, personable, courteous and respectful
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Owning a smartphone
  • Experience in customer service is an asset*
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification required
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
This is a sub-contract position. The sub-contractor will be responsible for providing their own vehicle to do deliveries and must provide proof of proper insurance.Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, ContractSalary: From $17.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
