Providing the highest level of excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Tax team works with individuals and organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors providing comprehensive strategies that minimize risk, meet tax compliance and reporting requirements, drive efficiencies and maximize returns. Specifically, our U.S. Corporate Tax team assists businesses with cross-border issues to strategically plan and manage their tax liability.ROLE @ MNPResponsibilities

  • Provide efficient and effective U.S. and Canadian tax services to a broad base of clients
  • Identify and analyze client needs through initial interviewing and information gathering
  • Research and identify a variety of tax issues and assist in implementing tax planning strategies for clients
  • Successfully maintain on-going positive relations with clients and develop new client relationships
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to junior team members
Skills and Experience
  • Canadian Chartered Accountant designation (CPA or CA), U.S. Certified Public Accountant designation (CPA) or other professional accounting designations with experience will be a strong asset
  • Previous experience working within Canadian or U.S. personal, partnership, trust and corporate tax within public practice
  • One to two years of work experience in U.S. Corporate Tax
  • Experience using software such as CaseWare, GoSystem, ProSystem and Profile would be an asset
  • An interest in specializing in tax
