Job description:Marketing & Communication Committee (Volunteer)Job Title: Copywriter / Content Creator VolunteerEmpowered Futures is an innovative Canadian non-profit organization supporting emerging adults as they transition into adulthood.We offer self-empowerment workshops and business mentorships to help build more confident, emotionally intelligent and resourceful adults. Using the principles of integrity, goal setting, and responsibility learned through business, we aim to inspire hope, instil healing, raise awareness and promote mental well-being and self-empowerment in Canadians aged 18 to 29.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWrite creative, on-brand copy that demonstrates a deep understanding of the audience and organizationWrite and conceptualize across various mediums including email, website, mobile, social, blog, events, etc.Participate in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution of campaignsCollaborate with designers for marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)Drive the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communications, leveraging research and other insights wherever applicableEdit and proofread copy as neededUse SEO principles to maximize copy’s reachQualificationsStellar written and communication skillsStrong understanding of the latest strategies and best practices in digital marketing, including email marketing, and social media marketingAbility to work independently and collaborate with remote teamsExperience creating content that maps to the target audience’s journeyBehavioral RequirementsWilling to take (and apply) constructive feedbackAbility to work autonomously to deliver on-brand, on-brief copy with little oversightActive learner - willing to seek out trends and opportunities for improving content programLoves collaborating and working as part of a team, but is also a go-getter and able to work independentlyBenefitsEmpowering emerging adults with their growth and developmentInnovating the movement towards mental wellnessCollaboration with multi-disciplinary senior board membersGrowing your professional networkRoom for advancement and growth within the organization to serve as a board memberJob Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 5-8 per weekSalary: $1.00 per yearFlexible Language Requirement:
