Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and determined Driver ! We are a company that contracts with FedEx Home & Ground Delivery to provide outstanding delivery service to Kenora and need someone to drive a truck from Winnipeg to Kenora in the mornings.Job Duties:

  • Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to company features of service and provides related customer service functions.
  • Arrive at the FedEx Winnipeg terminal to pick up vehicle and deliver packages to FedEx Kenora terminal
  • Loading and Unloading packages from the truck
  • Delivering packages to the destination using a GPS system
  • Scanning and Logging Packages
  • SAFETY, INTEGRITY, SERVICE, and ATTENDANCE are top priorities!
Requirements - All applicants MUST meet ALL of the following criteria :
  • 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 5 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 10 years. Driving experience must be verifiable.
  • Must be willing to submit a criminal background check and clean drivers abstract
  • Physically able to handle packages up to 150lbs
  • Have dependable transportation
  • The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must and a good general knowledge of Kenora and surrounding areas
  • Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $50.00 per dayAdditional pay:
  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay
