Job Description

Who is Parian LogisticsParian Logistics is a Canadian warehousing and distribution provider specializing in the distribution of garments for Canadian clothing retailers. We provide third party logistics and e-commerce fulfillment for our clients; Warehouse One, Rickis, Bootlegger, and cleo.We are looking for resourceful and hardworking individual to join our team immediately as our E-Commerce Evening Supervisor.Job DescriptionThe E-Commerce Evening Supervisor is responsible for the smooth operation of Parian Logistics’ E-Commerce department from Monday to Friday. Tasks will include assigning, directing, scheduling, training, and monitoring the work of the weekend team to maintain productivity.Duties & Responsibilities· Provides clear & concise, guidance, training, and direction to Team Leads and Team Members to achieve company goals.· Regularly suggests operational improvements that will improve third party fulfillment timelines.· Fosters a safe and positive working environment, free from harassment, bullying, or violence.· Upholds procedures that promote the success of eCommerce fulfillment operations and ensures adequate staffing levels during peak business times.· Provides on-going coaching, both positive and constructive, and development opportunities for team members including performance appraisals.· Addresses behavior that is disruptive to the team or in contravention with company policies in a timely fashion, and assisting with the proper delivery of WCB claims, Incident reports, Functional Assessments, and disciplinary actions to Human Resources.· Ensures work locations have necessary work supplies and coordinates ordering of supplies.· Ensures proper use of required personal protective equipment of team members· Other duties as assigned.Competencies

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting or equivalent experience.
  • Accountable, adaptable, strategic thinker & excellent problem solver.
  • Highly professional team player with exceptional customer service skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while making decisions with sound judgement.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks; could include bending, reaching, pulling, and twisting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to use a desktop computer, RF & inventory scanners, shipping & inventory software.
  • Effective communication skills.
