Family Visit Facilitator / Screener (Part Time, Term Position)- River East Personal Care HomeThis position is available at a home/community affiliated with Extendicare Inc. The successful candidate would be employed directly by the affiliated home, not Extendicare Inc.Applicants are invited to apply for the following position available at our Personal Care Home serving 120 elders from the city and community of Winnipeg, Manitoba.Family Visit Facilitator (Screener) – effective immediately (indefinite term).Shifts on various days. 10:00am - 6:00pm and/or 12:30pm - 8:30pm shifts available.Reporting to the Life Enrichment supervisor, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities and qualifications:RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Screening essential visitors in at the door.
  • Cleaning high touch areas frequently.
  • Accepting deliveries.
  • Directing family members, visitors and Elders to their pre-arranged visits.
  • Stocking of PPE and ensuring the adequate utilization of supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Required to work some day, evening and weekend shifts
  • Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and presentation
  • Organizational skills are essential
  • Command of the English language
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Sector Check ( including Criminal Background Check, Child and Adult Abuse Check)
QUALIFICATIONSCOVID-19 considerations:All staff must be fully vaccinated.
