Job Description

  • Install, service, and program wireless Alarm systems in residence (Qolsys System).
  • Troubleshooting security system.
  • Mount and fasten keypad panels, door, and window contacts, etc.
  • Provide service in accordance with the established procedures and techniques using proper tools, test equipment, and replacement parts.
  • Provide top-notch CUSTOMER SERVICE and tech support to the clients.
Whats Required:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Field Technician in the Alarm industry
  • A relevant degree/Diploma in Telecommunication or Information Technology or related field experience will be an ASSET.
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills are a must. You will be our on-site representative and must carry yourself accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude to use hand and power tools.
  • Positive energy with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • You will interact with consumers daily and should be comfortable and able to effectively communicate/train customers.
  • Previous experience with telecom, electrical, audio, paging, electronics, or a cable company is an asset.
  • CCTV, alarm, and network knowledge would definitely be an asset.
Must have:
  • Must have a reliable vehicle.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Understanding basic computer networking is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Must have a clean driving and criminal record.
Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 40 per weekSalary: From $18.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • alarm technician: 1 year (preferred)
