• PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

o You will work on a full-spectrum of geological projects across the Exploration Cycle overtime at Orix, ranging from organizing, cleaning, and analyzing large data sets, to 3Dmodelling and interpretation for target generation, to on-the-ground field work.o You will partner with junior, mid-tier, and major clients on strategic exploration projectsto gain in-depth geological experience.o You will benefit from robust coaching and support from the Orix Leadership Teamo You will develop your geological expertise and progress your career within a dynamicand growing organization.

• University Degree in Geological Sciences;
• Geologist-in-Training designation or greater is required for this role;
• 6+ months experience core logging or field experience in mining or exploration;
• Superior communication, interpersonal, client service skills combined with a strong attention to

detail and a high degree of integrity and confidentiality;

• Ability to work in remote field locations for 2 week periods;

Job ResponsibilitiesField Work

• Supporting exploration programs in accordance with client needs related to drill and/or

mapping programs including core logging and sampling;

• Ground truthing, mapping, targeting, lining up drill rigs, core logging and sampling, and

demonstration of leadership in a variety of communities/jurisdictions as part of fieldprograms;Office Work

• Review, organize, and integrate historical and current geological data;
• Create 2D (ArcGIS) and 3D (Datamine, Leapfrog) compilations;
• Digital transformation of historical drill logs, analytical data, and maps (digitizing and

data entry);

• Ongoing team collaboration and accountability to projects in a dynamic environment;

Other Duties

• Work alongside, support and/or supervise other colleagues as necessary (including

student geologists and technicians);

• Any other geological duties as required by your project supervisor.
