1.0 EFT, 1 year termSUMMARYThe Finance Officer is responsible for all aspects of our fast-paced finance office, including supervision of finance department staff. The Finance Officer works closely with the Executive Directors, Coordinators, Finance Committee, and board members as required. The Finance Officer requires in depth knowledge and experience in financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable and non-profit and health care sectors.The Finance Officer will oversee and assist operations with in all areas of our fast-paced Finance office. Duties will include:Overseeing and reviewing accounting operations of the teamAll aspects of Accounts Payable including redistributions and allocationsPrepare cheques and secure signatures as per NorWest policies and proceduresPreparation of monthly financial statements including cash receipt reports, payroll entries, benefits, daycare entriesBank reconciliationManaging and mentoring staffReview tasks, account reconciliationResponsible for financial reports to fundersPrepare and update budgets for different programsWork with auditorsPrepare monthly reports for Board of Directors and Annual reportCommunication with funders and related sources, ie.
