Job Description

WE ARE GROWING!Salford Group, with facilities in Iowa, Georgia, Ontario, Manitoba, and Russia, is a global leader in the manufacturing of tillage, seeding, and precision nutrient application equipment. The company dedicates its ongoing innovation efforts to precision, durability, versatility in the field, and improving the economics of farming for producers worldwide.We are currently looking for a General Labour, at our Elie, Manitoba location. This roles’ responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

  • 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Operate small hand tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the jobs needs.
  • Align material and put together parts to build more complex uniTS
  • Clean parts
  • To ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures
  • Previous experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing would be considered an asset
  • Other duties as assigned by the lead hand
  • Some overtime may be required.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints is an advantage.
