0.90 Grade 7 / 8 (Term)BULLETIN NUMBER: 099/T/22 DATE POSTED: May 11, 2022SCHOOL: GENERAL VANIER SCHOOLPOSITION DESCRIPTION:The term teaching assignment will commence September 6, 2022 to May 18, 2023 or one day prior to the return of theteacher being replaced, whichever occurs first.This teaching position requires an individual who embraces collaboration and “team-teaching” and who will model effective andvisionary educational practices that nurture student needs to: explore and create; connect purposefully with nature and theirenvironment; involve themselves directly in citizenship-based service learning opportunities in the community; and be engaged inrich curriculum-focused study of the world around them.We are looking for innovative teachers who share Louis Riel School Division’s philosophical beliefs.   • Knowledge and application of Manitoba Education curriculum
  • Design of instructional and assessment practices that engage student learning
  • Application of Indigenous teachings and perspectives
  • Programming for students who are English as an Additional Language learners
  • Knowledge, understanding and application of inclusive pedagogy•
Expertise in the implementation of inquiry/ project-based/ learning, instructional partnerships, differentiated instruction, andliteracy with ICT and digital citizenship
  • Promotion of innovation and creativity
  • Active collaboration between students and adults, and with colleagues, locally and globally
  • Inclusion of student voice and student choice
  • Leveraging technology as a learning tool
