Heavy Equipment Technician - MiningAbout this role:Tekmen is looking to recruit motivated Heavy Equipment Technicians. The purpose of this position is to assist the maintenance teams of our Mining clients with planned repairs and routine preventative maintenance.· Inspect Scoops, Trucks, Jumbo’s, Bolters and other supporting equipment for proper operation and performance.· Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.· Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools.· Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturer’s specifications.· Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.· Other impromptu duties as required.Candidate:· Trade Qualification as Heavy Equipment Technician· 4+ Years experience in Mining.Provide current criminal record check· Previous FIFO experience· Valid Drivers Licence· Ability to work well in teams and independently· Fluent in written and spoken EnglishBenefits:· Salary : $45-55 Hourly Wage· Bonus: $10/Hr Field Service Incentive· Travel Allowance· Accomodation Allowace or CampJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $45.00-$55.00 per hourAdditional pay:
