We value and trust our employees, providing them autonomy and freedom as they achieve the high standards we continually strive towards.Human Resources ManagerThis exciting role presents an opportunity for you to lead and evolve the human resources function in our organization. You’ll serve as our trusted HR expert, while developing the human resources systems, procedures, and policies that will support our ongoing success.As our HR manager, you’ll enjoy tons of variety in your job – you won’t be limited to just one HR function.Here’s some of what you’ll do:

  • Liaise with managers to determine recruitment needs, and lead the recruitment process
  • Coordinate and administer onboarding materials and training for new hires
  • Manage and maintain employee records
  • Serve as a resource for employee issues and concerns
  • Manage benefits administration and be the liaison to our benefits provider
  • Assist managers with performance evaluations, employee development, and career path training
  • Eventually (once you’re settled in!), take over payroll administration

We offer a competitive starting salary, 3 weeks’ vacation, a comprehensive benefits package, RSP matching, and a cell phone allowance.You’ll work Monday to Friday and can choose a daytime schedule that works for you. Occasionally, you may need to come in to the office outside of your normal hours to meet with employees working a different shift.We’re proud of the team we’ve built.   • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a generalist human resources role (HR coordinator, HR manager, or similar)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Manitoba employment law and standards, with experience applying them in a previous role
  • Formal education or training in human resources (e.g.: post-secondary degree or diploma, certificate, or related)
  • Experience developing human resources policies, procedures, and systems is an asset
  • Experience with benefits administration and/or payroll administration is an asset
  • CPHR certification is an asset
  • Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Access to reliable transportation (our office is not accessible by public transportation)
