Crown Pipeline Ltd. is seeking a Hydrovac Operator for projects around the Winnipeg area. The successful candidate will either have experience operating a hydrovac truck and be comfortable operating two brand new hydrovac trucks OR be an experienced class 3 driver who is interested in learning how to operate a hydrovac.Note: The successful candidate, whether a Hydrovac Operator or Class 3 driver willing to learn, will be offered pay at a Hydrovac Operator rate.We request that only candidates local to Winnipeg and the surrounding apply.Minimum Qualifications & Requirements: - Valid Class 1 or Class 3 with air endorsement- Clean Drivers Abstract- Familiar with safe work procedures and practices to safely operate the Hydrovac or willingness to learn- Must demonstrate ability to maneuver truck in tight spaces- Willing to do labour work and other tasks as needed on short notice- Able to adapt to a change in a fast paced environmentSpecific Skills: - Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner- Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation- Ensure all Hydrovac truck equipment and components are in good working condition at all times- Perform pre and post trip inspections- Follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance- Perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly- Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, slot trenching, and soft diggingPlease attach a copy of your resume while applying; or bring in resume to our office at 1076 Oxford St and we would try to accommodate an on the spot interview.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:
