To drive alignment and results, the VM will work in partnership with the Director of Visual and Regional Vice President to create an inviting and dynamic shopping environment. Collaborate with merchants on merchandise strategy. The VM must demonstrate strong leadership in directing General Managers within their region to drive timely execution of fashion trends, launches, and everyday standards. The VM is accountable for executing timely new store openings and renovations within their region and must possess the ability to create strong partnerships with Operations, Store Design, Regional Vice Presidents, General Managers and Construction team.Responsibilities:Adapt visual communication to Canada merchant strategy.Directs and ensures implementation of all initiatives and Everyday Standards.Ensures consistent execution by store within their region.Designing, prototyping, sourcing, and directing dimensional collateral and propping for all in store visual initiatives in designated Families of Business.Oversees development of visual initiatives, Identifies talent, assesses abilities, communicates expectations, implements training modules for new stores as well as existing stores, measures execution, provides feedback.Education of store teams on standards and presentation.Accountable for timely new store openings and renovations within their region: reviewing orders, partnership on the hiring visual associates, store training of visual standards, completion of opening on budget.Develop Project timeline and project tracker for Canada based initiatives.Track progress of projects and ensure business partners have project briefs and specific requirements for each project.About Hudson’s Bay:As North America’s oldest retailer, Hudsons Bay is the top destination for Canadians to realize their best style of life.
