We were the first mushroom grower in Canada to be HACCP-certified and we maintain food safety certification through the Guelph Food Technology Centre.Dedicated to quality and the satisfaction of our customers; each employee will perform duties in accordance with industry specific regulations, Global Food Safety Initiative Standards, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), SOP’s, quality standards, performance expectations and workplace health and safety policies and procedures.JOB DESCRIPTION· Support office with administrative work· Place purchase orders with suppliers, update PO status and ensure products arrive on time· Use past sales data and market trends to determine the amount and type of merchandise to buy· Visit the warehouse and farm to ensure the flow and level of inventory are maintained according to set min/max expectations· Negotiate prices, and discounts and resolve claim issues with suppliers· Report to senior management· Build and maintain relationships with vendors· Ensure the quality of purchased products· Maintain a healthy stock of 400 SKUsKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· The job requires a lot of computer work, and the level of technology· Advanced spreadsheet knowledge to analyze sales data.· ERP experience is a strong advantage.· The food industry is an assetJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per yearBenefits:
