Job Description

The IT Support Desk provides desktop, network and system application support to our employees.What you will do:

  • Provide technical advice, system support, and troubleshooting services
  • Create problem tickets and tracking resolution for all calls and emails
  • Route unresolved tickets to appropriate Level 2 support
  • Provide initial setup of workstations, PCs, printers, and cell phones
  • Deliver basic user training
  • Provide on call support to branches in rotation with the team
  • Other duties as assigned.
About You:
  • Post-secondary education (certificate, diploma or degree) in a technology related field
  • 1-3 years previous related experience in an IT support environment (Help Desk, Service Desk or Technician Services)
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and working with a variety of applications
  • Knowledge of common Unix/Linux/Windows commands
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working in team environments
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills to partner in solving problems
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proven ability to learn in a fast paced and fluid environment
  • must be willing to work a weekend rotation
