Job Description

Exceldor Cooperative, an Award-Winning, long-standing company is looking for a Key Account Manager-Food Service & Industrial Sales to join our team in our Winnipeg office. This position will report to the Director, Sales-Industrial Sector & Food Service based out of our office in St. Bruno, Quebec.Responsibilities: ·Initiate, build and maintain profitable customer relationships within assigned territory and business channel; up-sell beyond the customer’s initial order; promote value added products; launch value added products.·Build relationships with customers, generate profitable sales, review customer and competitor actions such as sales, promotions, products, and prices.·Respond to and resolve customer complaints.·Build and promote new product value-added lines.·Build relevant, fact-based sales strategies and business plans around customer and market segments working with both external and internal resources. Enhance and optimize current business and identify new business and market opportunities.·Develop and oversee the implementation of strategies for the sales function that are linked to the corporate vision, values, and strategic plan and that will grow sales.·Anticipate trends and developments in the food industry and adjusts plans to ensure ongoing competitive advantage.·Communicate market and customer needs to other entities in the company.·Provide timely and accurate status reports on all sales activities and outcomes.·Participate in sales, trade, and general business events.·Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate sales & production levels.·Complete account call records and account profiles and order entry functions as required.Qualifications: ·Commerce/Business degree with at least 5 years’ experience in food service and/or industrial sales.·Strong planning and analytical skills; a “big picture” approach.·Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.·Exceptionally customer focused.·Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.·Proven leadership ability and capability to work on a team.·Is profit-oriented and concerned about strategic growth as well as short-term, market share objectives – has a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and financial results.Interested applicants should submit a resume & cover letter indicating salary expectations by November 18th, 2022.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:
