Job Description

Round 2 Telecom Services Ltd. is looking to expand our team. We are currently looking to hire hardworking and dedicated LABOURERS to assist with the telecommunication installation in the Winnipeg, MB area. This position will be responsible for:

  • verifying, locating, and installing new underground telecommunication lines
  • loading and unloading materials, equipment, cable trailers and moving materials in work areas
  • general housekeeping; maintaining clean and safe work sites
  • submitting daily reports, as required
  • perform other duties as assigned by manager
The successful candidate will:
  • have reliable transportation to and from site
  • be able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting and in all types of weather conditions
  • hold a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Relevant utility and/or telecommunications experience is considered an asset Class 1 or 3 license is considered an asset First Aid, Ground Disturbance, and/or Confined Space certification is considered an asset Rate of Pay: Competitive remuneration based on qualifications and experienceJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:
  • Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • telecommunications: 1 year (preferred)
