Job Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a two Learning Specialists, Design on a permanent basis and two Learning Specialists, Design on a temporary basis (up to 1 year).We are open our Learning Specialists, Design working from our home or any of our zone offices located in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg. To learn more about who we are, visit www.fcl.crs.What you’ll do: In alignment with FCL’s overall learning strategies and business objectives, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and our Employee Experience, Communities of Expertise to develop high quality learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners.

  • You will conduct formal needs assessments, define learning objectives, and design training using instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • You will leverage various learning design methodologies to develop and maintain effective and sustainable training programs (includes online, in classroom, virtual/instructor led training and blended learning techniques) to meet the needs of the business.
  • You will coordinate, administer evaluate training programs to identify improvement opportunities related to the training program design.
  • You will support the HR Specialist, Learning and Development in the design and development of training courses and interactive learning solutions for various business units across the CRS. The development work will include using a variety of software such as Camtasia, Vyond, Articulate 360, etc.

You will work as part of a collaborative design team to support projects across the organization.Who you are: You are looking for a career in Human Resources & Training and:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree with preference for HR.
  • You have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience. HR experience along with a solid understanding of adult learning principles. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
