Job Description

Loveday Mushroom Farms is an advocate of good agricultural practices that ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. We were the first mushroom grower in Canada to be HACCP-certified and we maintain food safety certification through the Guelph Food Technology Centre.Dedicated to quality and the satisfaction of our customers; each employee will perform duties in accordance with industry specific regulations, Global Food Safety Initiative Standards, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), SOP’s, quality standards, performance expectations and workplace health and safety policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter mushroom orders into Sage
  • Book appointments for mushrooms/freight deliveries
  • Update manifest daily
  • Create waybills in Sage
  • Attach packing slips to waybills
  • Update local drivers with dispatch details
  • Scan and upload documents into Doc Star
  • Ensure work is completed within deadline
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound loads with logistics team
  • Communicate with drivers and warehouse employees
  • Overlook border documents
  • Manage logistical duties and activities
  • Perform weekly truck checks
  • Constant follow up and tracing with warehouse and drivers
  • Multi-task , prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Booking appointments in all portals for (Canada & US customers).
  • Working with carriers to arrange pick-up times.
  • Following up with carriers from pick-up to delivery.
  • Update customers regarding delays.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per yearBenefits:
