Job Description

Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (Frontier) is looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our Winnipeg team located in the Fort Garry industrial park.This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who have recently completed post-secondary education with a focus in Supply Chain & Logistics and are looking for an introduction to the Logistics field.The chosen candidate will learn how to perform track & trace functions, and communicate with our Long Haul fleet drivers, & vendors.This is a permanent full time position, shifts will be Monday to Friday.Responsibilities Include:

  • Tracking and tracing functions
  • Processing orders and coordinating with warehouses, including processing inbound and outbound freight
  • Complete reports and analysis via trucking software
  • Initiate, create, and update data into logistics software
  • Monitor truck shipments and communicate with our clients regarding the status
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively and professionally
  • Assist in dispatching and communication of fleet drivers & independent contractors
  • Communicate information to Drivers via text, phone call, or face to face
  • Assist in Driver scheduling and payroll
  • Assisting with billing clients
  • Assist with tasks in Operations or Logistics department as needed
Skills and abilities required:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) is required
  • Time management skills with proven ability to multitask
  • High accuracy in data entry, minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Superior attention to detail
  • An aptitude for listening, solving problems, responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges
  • Ability to follow established operating procedures and processes
  • Exceptional client service capability and confidence in engaging clients across multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.) using a friendly, positive attitude
  • Punctual, reliable, demonstrated exceptional work ethic
  • Experience with various software programs, or ability to learn
  • Willing to be cross trained in other duties to support the team
  • Previous education in Supply Chain Logistics or transportation preferred
