Job Description

Lumber Yard AssociatesSpringhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is looking for a few Lumber Yard Associates for immediate hire. These positions are from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.The successful candidate will receive full company paid benefits after 3 months.Rate of Pay: Depending on ExperienceDuties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements;
  • Completes paper work accordingly – tallies product changes as needed;
  • Maintains a clean and orderly yard and warehouse as directed;
  • Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service;
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence;
  • Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
  • Forklift Licence desired (but not required); and
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.
