Job Description

Were currently seeking a Maintenance Manager with a class 5 or higher power engineer certificate to oversee all maintenance activities within our company. Perfect applicants must excel at project management, organization and lead by example. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with deadlines and project specifications. Being able to multitask and take initiative are a must. Since you will be working closely with our Production Supervisor, we want to see that you have good communication skills to ensure an effective flow of information between teams. Your goal is to help our company meet its objectives by ensuring that the maintenance department runs smoothly and effectively.Responsibilities:

  • Be aware of, and oversee, all repair and maintenance services (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry etc.).
  • Ensure that maintenance crew is well-trained and properly equipped.
  • Responsible for managing project budgets and supplier contracts.
  • Monitor budgets, timetable and operational performance.
  • Make decisions about quality control, workflow, staffing and equipment.
  • Carry out regular audits to ensure that all workplace regulations are complied with (e.g. OSHA).
  • Recommend plans for facility expansion and development.
  • Write reports about the maintenance work done in the area and submit them to the Head of Facilities.
  • Resolve issues between building users and the management.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building infrastructure equipment such as fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting on faulty equipment (e.g. broken plumbing or jammed doors/windows).
  • Research solutions to resolve building problems (e.g. water leakage).
  • Update job knowledge by taking part in seminars or online training courses related to their job.
  • Keep up.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,293.15-$121,153.04 per yearSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Licence/Certification:
  • class 4 or 5 power engineer (required)
