Job Description

Sussex Realty is recruiting a Maintenance/Resident Manager Assistant for a 186 unit apartment complex located at 50 Alpine Ave starting January 3, 2023. This position would be assisting the onsite Maintenance Manager with maitnenance and other resident manager duties as needed. The hours for this position range from 30-40 hours a week.Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Maintenance Manager with repairs in suites and in common areas
  • Assisitng with taking out the garbage and recycling twice weekly
  • Vacuuming hallways, mopping floors, cleaning the boiler room and the lobby regulalry
  • Clean and wash stairwells on a monthly basis
  • Cleaning laundry rooms twice weekly
  • Assit with snow removal and lawn maintenance
  • Assist with pool maintenance (seasonal only)
  • Other duties may be required
Qualifications:
  • Experience with minor maintenace (plumbing, carpentry, general repairs, etc.)
  • Clear criminal record check is required
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
