Job Description

  • Reports to Senior Property Manager regarding maintenance, grounds, and multiple third-party vendors
  • Works on prioritizing service calls and distribution of calls through our list of approved vendors
  • Works with team to create accurate/concise work orders
  • Works with Senior Property Manager to keep properties in excellent condition and ensure great customer service
  • Ensures energy efficiency of the building and that basic facilities such as water, heating and air conditioning are well maintained and monitored
  • Schedule and/or perform preventive maintenance inspections,provides notices
  • Ensures cost effectiveness when ordering supplies
  • Ability to handle varied and complex workload
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • 1+ years experience in Residential Property Maintenance preferred or Property Management
  • Ensures compliance with safety and security protocols
  • Monitors and manages facilities security systems such as the entry door locks, assignment of keys, and Fire Prevention- Fire Safety
  • Communicates with tenants and Resident Managers on any upcoming maintenance items
  • Calculates Security Deposit calculations
Requirements
  • 1 year’s experience in Property Management or related experience
  • Experience overseeing third party service providers
  • Experience in ordering supplies and inventory control
  • Able to maintain accurate records
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Curious/problem solver
  • Professional
  • Good decision-making skills/logic
  • Valid drivers license and vehicle
  • Must be able to provide a clear background check
  • Knowledge of computer, excel, office 365, aptitude for new software
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • On call
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
