The Americas team champions the values of Integrity, Ownership, Customer Focus, Creativity and Care to help us deliver on People Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Collaboration.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, test and troubleshoot all production lines prior to start-up in a timely manner.Prmote and adhere to all safe work practices.Work in accordance with Company policies, department procedures, good manufacturing practices and workplace health and safety regulations.Carry out work orders and duties assigned by Maintenance Manager and/or SupervisorTimely and accuratly complete all paper work associated with repairs and preventative maintenance.Repair production equipment using blueprints and manualsCarry out minor building maintenance and repairsPerform basic welding with both Arc and TIG, as well as basic machining skillsMaintain ongoing communication with other departments and assist in continuous equipment improvement.Problem solve, analyze and identify waste areas and recommend solutions.Install new equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.Carry out equipment modifications to improve product quality and reduce downtime.Set up and change over equipment based on production plan demands.Other duties as assigned.Skills, Experience & QualificationsAbility to work in a fast paced production manufacturing environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Able to work with a large diverse team.Must be able to understand scheduling processes, quality training and safety policies and procedures.Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.Minimum 3 years working in a manufacturing/production environment perferred.Post secondary education with technical field or trade or equivalent.Must be able to work rotating shift work over a three shift 24 hour schedule.Proven ability to multitask work assignments, production demands and projects.Strong sence of punctuality and organizational skills required.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at a time.Strong sense urgency and ownership of ones work.Driven to get the job done safely with minimual supervison.Enjoy working within a diverse team and independantly.Experience of SAP considered an assest.Able to weld, fabricate and machinin.gStrong ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and diagrams of refrigeration systems.Knowledge of PLC/VFD and control circuits.Expereince rebuliding pumps, motors, gearboxes and process equipement.Able to work on machinery installation and rigging.We thank each applicant for taking the time and effort to submit your resume, however, only candidates to be interviewed will be contacted.
