Job Description

Looking for a skilled maintenance person who enjoys busy days and accomplishing tasks. This position requires you to be a hard worker, with a diverse knowledge of various trades like plumbing, basic electrical, painting and carpentry. No day is the same when working here.All tools and supplies are provided to perform your work. Must have strong organizational skills and flexibility with days of work though this is a day shift position.Responsibilities include:

  • General Maintenance: Complete all assigned work orders from the Property Manager in a timely fashion.
  • Appliance Repair: Perform exploratory work on operation and non-operating appliances including coolers, ovens, hot water tanks, dishwashers, commercial kitchen appliances and inform Property Manager of results for further action.
  • Plumbing: Diagnosing toilets and urinals and perform basic repairs. Repair/replacing sinks, faucets and other fixtures and informing Property Manager of any escalating problems.
  • Drywall and Painting: Sand, scrape, patch and fill drywall damage. Painting interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Grounds Keeping: Snow clearing from main entrances and sidewalks after snowfall and light grounds maintenance as needed.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Maintain a positive relationship with staff and customers
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Good physical condition with mobility and flexibility
  • Able to use ladders and work outdoors
  • Able to lift and carry up to 100lbs
  • Dependable and able to work independently or as a team
  • Willing to work weekends, overtime and holidays as required and during emergency call-outs on off hours
