  • The Facility Patient Care Manager is responsible for the administrative functions of the Hospital in the absence of Senior Administrative personnel.
    • Ensures that the delivery of health care services is consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Grace Hospital.
    • Fosters/facilitates interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships within the institution as a whole and with other health care services to ensure a high standard of patient care.
  • Directly accountable to the Executive Director, Clinical Services /Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years experience with demonstrated management and leadership skills in hospital management.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Baccalaureate degree in a health care discipline required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Current registration in a professional association/licensure in relevant discipline.
  • Current BCLS certification.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated participatory management style which fosters an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment that supports quality patient care.
  • Demonstrated skills in labour relations management.
  • Self-directed and demonstrates creative problem-solving in both patient and administrative matters.
  • Possesses a commitment to self-development.
