We’re united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care.Position OverviewUnder the Director, Resident Care Services, the Resident Care Manager will:

  • provide leadership for the health care team in promoting resident centered care.
  • promote stewardship of financial resources and ensure that adequate human and material resources are available to support the 24-hour delivery of safe, quality resident care.
  • Creates an environment that enables the facility/region to fulfill its mission and achieve established performance goals.
  • Seeks to promote and maintain a professional, team-oriented and service conscious environment wherein quality improvement opportunities are pursued and risk is mitigated.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region/facility/unit.
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years previous clinical experience in related settings.
  • Minimum 2 years recent management experience.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related health discipline from a recognized university.
  • Master’s Degree in management, health care administration or related field.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Active practicing status with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or applicable College.
  • CNA certification in Gerontology, Rehabilitation, Registered Psychiatric Nursing and/or Palliative Care Nursing preferred.
