Salford Group Inc., a Linamar Company, with facilities in Iowa, Georgia, Ontario, and Manitoba, is a global leader in the manufacturing of tillage, seeding, and precision nutrient application equipment. Due to continued growth, Salford is seeking a fulltime Quality Coordinator for our Elie Manitoba operation. Reporting to the Operations Manager, with strong ties to the corporate Quality team, this position will support the ongoing development of the Salford Quality Management System by leading a range of quality systems improvement initiatives and Quality Team activities.Assigned Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures· Develop procedures, work instructions and forms required for the Salford Quality System· Maintain and report quality metrics, while keeping our Quality bulletin boards current· Lead root cause investigations on quality related problems· Provide Quality Systems training for employees as required· Coordinate internal quality system audit process· Inspect sub-assemblies and full assemblies as part of a daily routine· Coordinate implementation of Salford Quality Team initiatives· Execution of process capability studies· Develop and post quality bulletins for critical quality issuesQualifications· Proficient at using Word, Excel and writing procedures· Post-secondary education is an asset· Some knowledge of process development through reading or creating process maps.· Document control experience is an asset· Proven skills in problem solving, communication and improvement implementation· Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this role
