Job Description

Position SummaryConviron is looking for an Office Administrator to join their energetic and growth-oriented work environment. The Office Administrator is responsible welcoming customers in-person, managing telephone inquiries and assisting the business office with administrative support.The position is full time, with the requirement to be in-office from 8AM to 4PM Monday to Friday.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Welcome clients and visitors to the office in a helpful, friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer switchboard calls and either direct callers to the appropriate department or respond to inquiries.
  • Sort incoming mail and deliveries upon receipt and ensure outgoing mail and courier packages are sent on time and accurately.
  • Assist with keeping a tidy reception area and boardrooms.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide clerical support to the business office, including managing and ordering office supplies
  • Process service invoices and related export documents.
  • Prepare packing lists for shipping department.
  • Process accounts payable (invoice and data entry)
  • Coordinating office social events
Required Skills and Experience
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills is required
  • Reliable team player, with demonstrated willingness and ability to learn and collaborate is important
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented, well organized and ability to problem solve
  • Experience processing accounts payables or other accounting experience, including using accounting software, is an asset
  • 2+ years in a receptionist or administrative assistant role

Experience:
  • Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
