Job Description

What you will be doing in the role of Sales Administrator: Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Inventory management (physical and systematic): Proper labelling, item placement, and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory at all times.
  • Picking and shipping orders physically, and systematically (IFS / PARCEL / Online Portals)
  • Interface with carriers (both small parcel and LTL) – Scheduling, offloading, and loading
  • Completing ad hoc administrative and warehouse tasks, as required to support Winnipeg office operations
  • Warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Taking inventory of and ordering office supplies
  • Assist with organization of office lunches and events
  • Accurately entering and updating data into the business system and customer specific portals, ensuring all items are accounted for
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders and returns
  • Generating, updating, and sending order confirmations and status reports, as required
  • Reviewing vendor order acknowledgements for discrepancies, updating dates and attaching in business system
  • Obtaining, tracking, assembling, and sending documentation as required
  • Cross-functional work with other Lakeside teams
  • Assisting with Inbox Management – distributing RFQs, purchase orders and other requests to appropriate team member
Knowledge and skills required for the role:
  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • One to Two (1-2) years’ of administrative experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Windows
