It involves significant responsibility for the efficient production and distribution of our products while ensuring our team is happy and fulfilled in their daily tasks.Tiber River is focused on becoming the Happiest Clean on Earth, and we are looking for a creative, passionate manufacturing professional to help us grow and develop. If you love to roll up your sleeves, get involved in understanding every aspect of manufacturing and the team you will be working with, all with the goal of continuous improvement in the flow of product manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping as well as the team’s happiness, we encourage you to apply below.We are looking for an Operations Manager with experience with a small to medium sized business in manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and shipping.Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop a culture of high standards, widely deployed and at all levels of detail, so that existing team members understand and model the behaviours indicative of high standards and all new team members see it in action and understand the expectations of them: how to keep fixed problems fixed, how to eliminate defects at the root, how to inspect processes, etc.
  • Plan production schedules based on forecasted values.
  • Drive the implementation of company programs by assisting your team in developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing your team to implement those plans to meet operational and company objectives.
  • Hire, train and assess performance of your team, while challenging them to achieve business results.
  • Manage workflow for production, warehousing and shipping and measure results of agreed upon goals.

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Have experience working in a small to medium sized manufacturing business.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Completion of some secondary education is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Experience working with machinery is an asset.
